Here you can read about current fees that are important to know as lenders and borrowers.
Lender's fees
Kameo does not charge any fees for investing via the Kameo platform.
Fee for investors outside Norway with a Norwegian account
DNB Norway currently charges a fee for handling payments from abroad. The fees are as follows:
Amounts up to 4999 NOK (or equivalent in foreign currency) - 50 NOK
Amounts over 5000 NOK (or equivalent in foreign currency) - 100 NOK
EU/SEPA payment*20 NOK
*Applies to payments with IBAN and BIC from EU/EEA countries with a standard cost code, i.e. the recipient only pays the costs in Norway. This includes all amounts in euros and amounts up to 500,000 SEK. For amounts over 500,000 SEK, the price is 100 SEK.
For all bids up to 4999 NOK you will need to transfer 50 NOK in addition. If you are going to transfer more than 5000 NOK, you will have to add 100 NOK. The consequence of not transferring the fee will be that it will be deducted from your transfer instead. You will therefore lose the corresponding amount and thus not have enough for all the loan shares you have bid for.
Currency exchange
Kameo currently does not charge any exchange fee when you switch between your Kameo accounts.
When withdrawing to a bank in another currency, Kameo also does not charge any fee. The payment is made as a regular international transfer and follows the pricing set by the sending bank (DNB) and your bank.
Interest on client funds account
The client funds account at Kameo is intended as a transaction account when you invest in loans via the platform. This means that the account is used to manage the transactions associated with your investments, such as deposits, withdrawals and loan repayments. You do not receive any interest on the capital that has not been invested in loans on the Kameo platform. In the event of negative interest rates, you also do not pay any interest compensation.
This is due to compliance and administrative reasons.
